How To Get Involved

We welcome the contributions of individuals, businesses and community partners who connect with our mission to provide support for emotional and behavioral healing to strengthen individuals, families and our community. We are proud of our commitment to offer a wide range of mental health and wellness services, especially for those who are underserved in our community. There are many ways to support our work.

Our board members are the fiduciaries who steer our organization by adopting sound, ethical and legal governance and financial management policies, as well as by making sure we have adequate resources to advance our mission. The board also oversees the hiring, evaluation and supervision of our executive director. As dedicated volunteers, our board members advocate for our nonprofit and build relationships in the community. If you’re interested in serving on the Riverview board, please contact Executive Director Meghan Melton.

Serving as a hands-on Riverview volunteer can be extremely rewarding. Current volunteer opportunities include:

  • Making improvements to our campus
  • Stocking our food and personal-care pantry
  • Assisting with FOOD For Lane County pick-ups
  • Organizing and improving our on-campus library
  • Donating to and/or helping to organize our clothing closet

If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Director of Operations, Kerri Sorber, and send the completed background check form as well as our Confidentiality Contract, listed below.
