Intensive In-Home Behavioral Health

Intensive In-Home Behavioral Health Treatment (IIBHT) is delivered in the most normal and least restrictive setting possible – at home and in the community. An alternative to residential treatment or inpatient hospitalization, this in-home mental health and behavioral health program helps children and young adults work through issues and realize their potential for growth and success.

An interdisciplinary team of specialists, including a therapist, behavioral support specialist, peer support worker and a psychiatrist, partners with the family to create a personalized plan, to direct treatment and to provide at least four hours per week of individualized care. Services include psychiatric services, medication management, mental health therapy, case management, crisis intervention, care coordination, skills training and peer support services.

This program is available to children and teens who are having a hard time functioning at home, at school or in the community, often due to trauma, loss or circumstances related to everyday life.

These in-home services are available to children and teens living in a variety of settings, such as foster care, group homes, traditional home settings, shelter care and behavior rehabilitation settings. We meet clients where they are, offering hope, healing and a path forward.

Enrollment in this program is not time limited. Instead, enrollment is based on the individual needs of the individual and their family.
