Outpatient Counseling

Riverview Center for Growth provides community-based outpatient counseling for families and individuals experiencing emotional, behavioral, social and mental health challenges that are impacting day-to-day life. We offer both in-person and telehealth therapy for ages 3 through adult.

Our comprehensive program includes psychiatry, peer support and wellness services to address as many needs as possible. We offer talk, play, art and movement therapy, as well as therapeutic education for children and teens.

If drug and/or alcohol treatment are recommended, we will partner with organizations in our community to create an individualized co-treatment plan.

We also offer non-invasive, outpatient neurological treatments, such as NFB and EMDR, for children, teens and adults that have proven to help clients deal with symptoms that impact daily functioning.

Neurofeedback (NFB)

This neurological treatment can provide relief from a variety of symptoms when traditional therapy is not possible. It is effective in treating symptoms of ADHD, chronic pain, depression, anxiety and trauma.

Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR)

This evidence-based therapy can help heal individuals with emotional distress and symptoms related to disturbing life experiences. It is useful for treating both long-term and singular traumatic events, as well as phobias and other concerns that impact daily functioning.
